Royal Platinum Jubilee Celebrations at Healey Dell

This year marks the 70th anniversary of the ascension of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, her Platinum Jubilee. She is the first British monarch in history to mark this incredible achievement. And we want to show our appreciation for her majesty’s long-standing service to the throne and the people of the United Kingdom.

As part of these celebrations, this coming four-day Bank Holiday weekend will see a lot of celebrations and performances at the Tea Rooms. From 2nd to 5th June 2022, you can take part in a number of events and enjoy a specially created menu on our premises.

We have historical walks and a menu starting from Thursday, including our Queen’s Afternoon Tea available for a limited time only.

On Friday, from 12 noon to 4 pm, we welcome Dom Collins to provide entertainment from the 1940s, including a swing section and a tribute to George Formby. Fancy dress is encouraged – 1940s style, of course – and there may be prizes for the best dressed.

From 12 noon to 4 pm on Saturday, we welcome Mike Wallace, with a selection of Rock & Roll, Country, and Pop music from around the 1940s and 50s.

On Sunday, we welcome Personality Female Vocalist Suzie B, performing some of the hits from the 1940s and 50s, and more.

Also, on Sunday, from 11 am to 4 pm, we have a display of military vehicles and a trip to the firing range from our local military regiment.

If you want to reserve your place, click the button below and book your table. We still have places open. Alternatively, call us on 01706 350 459, or email us at [email protected].
